Health Data (Heart Rate)
Ghostracer requests the READ_HEART_RATE permission on Wear OS devices. With your permission, the Ghostracer Wear OS app reads your heart rate from your watch's sensors while you are recording a running or cycling activity. Heart rate data is only accessed while an activity is being recorded and is used solely to display your current heart rate during the activity and to save it with that activity's record so you can review it afterwards.
Heart rate data is sent from your watch to the Ghostracer app on your paired phone and is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded to, collected by, or accessible to me, and it is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics or any purpose other than recording your activity.
You may choose to export or upload an activity, including its heart rate data, to a third-party service such as Strava. This only happens when you explicitly initiate the upload, and once uploaded the data is handled under that service's own privacy policy.
Heart rate access is optional. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time in your watch's settings and still record activities without heart rate. You can delete saved activities and their heart rate data from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all stored data from your device.
Location Data
Ghostracer requests access to your device's precise location (GPS) on your phone and Wear OS watch. With your permission, the app reads your location while you are recording a running or cycling activity, including when the screen is off or the app is in the background, so that the full route can be recorded. A notification is shown while an activity is being recorded. Location is not accessed when no activity is being recorded.
Location data is used solely to measure your distance, speed and pace, to show your route on a map, to race against your previous activities, and to save the route with that activity's record. It is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded to, collected by, or accessible to me, and it is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics or any purpose other than recording your activity.
You may choose to export or upload an activity, including its route, to a third-party service such as Strava. This only happens when you explicitly initiate the upload, and once uploaded the data is handled under that service's own privacy policy. Note that a route may reveal places such as your home.

Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
